So, yesterday was the big 25! I got one of the best presents ever ... turns out that Anthony signed up for the Chicago Marathon as well. I have a training partner!!! Of course, we'll be needing all the support we can get from our amazing families as well! I also got a new pair of slippers from my lovely husband (because he's sick of smelling my old ones.) My wonderful mother baked me an angel food cake with whipped cream and strawberries (YUM!!!!) Lisa and Neil and the kiddos baked me a (to die for) pear tort! And, my fantastic in-laws gave me some really great running clothes and my all time favorite - bare minerals eye makeup!
I couldn't have asked for a better birthday!
