What an amazing classroom. Anthony and I got to tag along today for the first day, which was only 45 minutes. Tomorrow GianLuca will go by himself for about an hour. The inside of the school is beautiful. GianLuca was on overdrive for today but once he gets everything figured out I'm sure he'll calm down. There was just WAY too much to do! Gianluca's teachers are fantastic. He has a Directress named Ms. Amanda and a classroom assistant named Ms. Dawn. Both of them are wonderful women and I'm sure you'll hear much more about them as the school year progresses. We brought Ralph to school today (read previous entry if you don't know who Ralph is) and GianLuca cried. We felt so bad, bad enough that Anthony and I are thinking about getting a fishy for the house. We explained that Ralph is happy with his other fish friends and we'll be seeing him every Thursday and Friday then Ms. Amanda let GianLuca feed the fish which helped with the sadness a little. What else did we do... we got to paint a little and play in the sink, we played music and looked at some books and broke in our new school slippers (thanks Aunt Lisa - the Crocs are working out perfectly!)
Here are a few pictures from this morning before school...
Ready to rock and roll with Ralph

It's pretty funny how fast our kids are growing up. It looks like Luca is ready for anything. Having a fish at home sounds pretty awesome too. My cousin in Albuquerque had a aquarium in their house. The boys loved feeding the fish everyday we were their. They always love to see the one at Central Dupage Hospital too. I'm so happy to hear Luca and you guys had a great time. I'm sure today well be pretty awesome for Luca. I'm glad the croc's are working out for you. Give the big boy Luca our love:)
Congrats to GL! That's so fabulous. He looks all schooly in his backpack. Cute, cute cute!
